The process of writing The Proper Care & Feeding of Your Soul was supernatual. I was so unfulfilled and began with a burning desire to just write. I wasn't attempting to write a book, I was merely trying to make sense of my existence. The process began by recording and attempting to purge my early life. I was angry and felt superior to those who violated my innocence. It just began as a cathartic tool to move forward and find peace. The writing evolved into a temptation of sorts. I began to see the world as conquerable with anger and wanted to plot out revenge through thought and execution. As I began to revisit my writing, I began to see the worst of me, and how I was manipulated all of my life. It became a record of survival through 'martydom'.
Ultimately, I was saved by truly seeing myself in the writing and finding redemption through faith. "It was difficult to discover the overwhelming truth, that I was extremely angry, vain and arrogant. It was even more overwhelming to discover that love was and is constantly surrounding me in grace and compassion." This book is a record of living and dealing with anger and finally finding redemption. It is also the culmination of great general philosophies about what the Holy Spirit revealed to me during a spiritual baptism. I hope it is helpful to you in your beautiful spiritual journey.
